Our student body is among the most diverse in the world, with a rich gender spectrum and students from every Canadian province and more than 100 countries. For the past four years, women have comprised 40% of our first-year class, which is the highest proportion of any engineering school in Canada.
Our community is also known for being especially closely knit. Student support is woven through every layer of the U of T Engineering experience — from the mentorship that upper-year students provide through peer-assisted study programs, and in the time professors spend during and after class to help students with challenging course content.
