Non-Degree Students

Non-degree students are those taking courses offered by the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, who are not working towards an undergraduate degree within the Faculty. Often these are “visiting students,” who have received a letter of permission from their home university and are working towards a degree at that institution.

Non-degree students are considered on the basis of their overall academic record and space availability in these courses. With the limited number of places available within the Faculty, priority is given to degree-level students. Please note that students who are currently applying for undergraduate degree studies in the Faculty are not eligible to enrol in courses as a non-degree student.
