Bachillerato/Bachiller + University Entrance Exam (if written), with excellent results.
Prerequisite courses should be presented in the final year of high school:
- Mathematics (including Calculus)
- Proof of English facility (exceptions may apply)*
*Please visit English Language Requirements to evaluate if you are required to present proof of English Facility. If you do not meet the English Language Requirements at the time of admission or you are worried that your test score will not meet our minimum requirements, you may want to consider applying for the International Foundation Program (IFP).
If you are currently enrolled, a provisional decision will be made based on your midterm/predicted marks and your academic record to date. Generally, successful applicants are among the top ¼ of their class.
*If you are currently enrolled in Levelling Courses through SENESCYT, please note these courses will not satisfy your pre-requisites.
Submission of Documents
Applicants are required to submit English translated secondary school transcripts, showing all years of study including current interim results, via the Applicant Portal’s document upload feature prior to February 1. When available, official final results should be sent directly to the Engineering Undergraduate Admissions office at the University of Toronto from the issuing body.
